About the Role
Our client is a highly successful Gold Coast manufacturing business, who are on a strategic growth and expansion trajectory.
As part of this expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Industrial Painter and Sand Blaster who is reliable and prides themselves on providing superior workmanship at all times. You will be responsible for surface preparation using new sand blasting equipment, paint priming, paint finishing on new and used equipment. Your skills and expertise will help the team to deliver a wide range of products to Australia and the world.

Duties:
- Sand blasting steel parts
- Priming of blasted parts
- Painting of equipment in multiple colours
- Quality checks
- Materials handling (manual, overhead crane & forklift)
- Planning input
- Housekeeping and general cleanliness
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant Trade Qualifications, highly desirable
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines in a workshop environment
- Strong communication skills
- Current Drivers Licence
- Previous experience working within manufacturing industry
- High respect for OH&S policies and procedures
